Who We Are
SPEX Advisers is a Minsk-based professional services firm. We work with international IT companies, fintech operators, investment funds, and corporate brands that operate, hire, or settle business in Belarus.
Our practice covers what those clients actually need — accounting, payroll, EOR, PEO, recruitment, HR consulting, legal support, management company services, bank account opening, and market research. The combination matters. Most engagements span more than one of these, and clients want a single counterparty for the whole stack, not a handful of providers to coordinate.
Our mission is to be that counterparty. We solve practical problems in Belarus to a standard that headquarters in New York, London, Berlin, or Dubai recognises as their own.
Our Team
Our specialists are accountants, lawyers, payroll professionals, HR managers, recruiters, and consultants — most with ten or more years on the Belarusian market and direct experience with international clients.
The working language is English. Reports, contracts, calls, and day-to-day correspondence are delivered in English to the standard a headquarters team expects to read. Russian is available where the client prefers it.
We hire for substance rather than credentials alone. The team is small enough that every senior specialist knows every active client. As a result, when an issue moves between practices — payroll picks up a question that turns into a legal point, then a banking matter — the handover happens without the client needing to repeat themselves.
How We Work
Five principles define how engagements run.
Practical, not theoretical. Every recommendation accounts for how Belarusian regulators, banks, and counterparties actually behave — not only what the regulation says on paper. We tell clients what will work and what will not.
Transparent, in writing. Scope and fee are agreed before work begins. The client sees the deliverable. No open-ended retainers, no per-transaction surprises.
Direct, not through resellers. We are a direct provider across every practice we run — EOR, payroll, management company, recruitment, banking support. The contract sits with us. So does the accountability.
Honest about limits. Some questions have a clean answer; some do not. Where the right action is to wait, escalate, or decline, we say so. We have refused clients we could not serve well.
Long horizons. Most of our work comes from existing clients or their referrals. The discipline that protects an individual engagement is the same discipline that protects a five-year relationship.
